As your therapist I will work alongside you to help you learn to identify your emotions, learn healthy ways to express yourself, and healthy and effective ways of communicating with others. Together we will also identify your strengths as well as possible unhealthy thinking or behavioral patterns and how they relate to your everyday experiences and emotions.
I'm Rhyanna, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) who is ready to help you lead a more fulfilling life. I graduated from Lesley University in 2014 with a Masters of Arts in Counseling Psychology and I acquired my professional license in 2019. I have successfully treated adults since 2020 and I have a background in school-based counseling for middle and high school students between 2015-2022.
I enjoy treating those who are suffering with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, parenting stress, ADHD, LGBTQIA+ issues, life transitions, grief, body image concerns and more. I am not specialized for any populations at this time and provide a general but effective approach.

I’m an LCSW currently licensed in CT, MA, NH, and ME. I believe that therapy is most effective when it’s practical and empowering. Whether you’re managing anxiety, depression, life transitions or grief, I aim to create a safe and supportive space where growth and change feel possible. My role is not to “fix” but to walk with you to gain insight, develop tools and move towards the version of you that feels most authentic.
Great to meet you! If you’re feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, ADHD, depression, or mood changes, you’re not alone—and you don’t have to figure it out on your own. I work with children, teens, adults, and older adults, supporting a wide range of concerns including bipolar disorder, OCD, trauma, sleep issues, substance use, and life stressors.
As a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, I offer both medication management and therapy, so we can look at the full picture of your mental health. Whether you're navigating daily stress, panic, grief, anger, or feeling stuck in patterns that aren’t working, my goal is to help you feel more stable, clear, and in control of your life.
I bring a calm, steady, and thoughtful presence to the work. Clients often describe me as warm, gently humorous, and intellectually grounded. My practice is shaped by the teachings and wisdom of the Catholic faith, especially its understanding of the human person as a unity of body and soul, created for meaning and made for eternity. I find that many people of faith or traditional backgrounds want a therapist who respects those commitments and won’t dismiss or pathologize them.
I work especially well with anxiety, scrupulosity, family strain, and questions that sit at the crossroads of faith and daily life. I’m not drawn to trends or spiritual fads — I prefer a more timeless, human approach to healing — but clients of any or no religious background are also welcome. Above all, I want you to have a therapeutic space where you feel understood, respected, and able to explore the deeper parts of your story without pressure.
I am glad you decided to engage in therapy. I offer a safe and supportive environment where you can openly express yourself without judgment. I utilize CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy), MI (motivational interviewing, and CPT (cognitive processing therapy). I focus on your goals and progress in therapy.
I completed my MS in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of New Hampshire in 2019. Since then, I have work primarily worked for institutions facilitating groups for PHP/IOP programs and providing outpatient individual and couples counseling.
My work is motivated by my own deep desire to stand by others as they build resilience, claim their right to joy, and (re)discover their sense of curiosity and possibility.
For 30 years, I’ve had the privilege of working across systems, communities, and life stages — with adults, families, and individuals navigating complex dynamics, life transitions, and the lasting impact of trauma and inequities. I’ve worked in settings that range from deeply clinical to community-based, and through it all, one truth has remained constant: people are remarkably resilient when given the right space and support.
At the heart of my work is the belief that everyone deserves support and a safe place to explore who they are and what they need. I deeply value the therapeutic relationship as a core driver of change — feeling seen, respected, and meaningful is foundational to healing.
I believe you deserve to feel joy, contentment, and excitement about your life. You deserve healthy, fulfilling relationships and a sense of connection to yourself and others.
I work best with adults who are ready to go deeper — who are motivated to take courageous next steps, explore what may be getting in the way, and reconnect with their authentic selves. I specialize in life transitions, self-esteem and self-worth, resilience-building, and helping people rediscover their joy.
