I specialize in anxiety, including generalized anxiety and panic attacks, as well as trauma, grief and loss, attachment and family dynamics, relationship issues, perfectionism and overfunctioning, stress and adjustment to change, and the ways emotional pain can show up in the body. I help clients understand how distress impacts self-worth, emotional expression, and connection with others by exploring when the disturbance began, where it comes from, and how it affects daily life.
I’m direct, supportive, and collaborative.
I’m Gen X, which tends to resonate with clients who appreciate a straightforward, no-nonsense approach grounded in real-world experience.
I’m also a counselor who is a Christian—but not a “Christian counselor.”
