I offer a place to slow down, reflect, and work together on what’s holding you back and what can lead you toward clarity, confidence, and a life that feels fun and fulfilling again. You don’t have to navigate it alone—I’m here to support you as you find your way forward.
Hey! I'm DeVon Moore, LCSW-S, with over a decade mental health experience— everything from crisis work and inpatient care to grief, family systems, and integrated behavioral health. I've worked extensively within the LGBTQIA+ community and with people navigating trauma, identity, and burnout. But here's what actually matters: I know what it's like to unlearn everything you were taught about who you had to be. I built Heart Strings because I wanted a practice that felt honest — no performance, no fluff, just real work with real people.
I believe that therapy is a collaborative journey. In our sessions, I provide a nonjudgmental, compassionate, and confidential space where clients can express their concerns openly. Together, we will establish their goals early in the process and regularly review them to track their progress. My role is to assist them - like a supportive passenger - while they navigate their path to healing.
Hi, I’m Liz, a therapist who believes healing starts with feeling truly seen and heard. My approach is gentle but direct, and I focus on what’s actually working in your life while finding small, realistic steps toward change. Many of the people I work with are women navigating grief, anxiety, trauma, or the challenges of motherhood. I also understand that sometimes we’re not trying to thrive , we’re just trying to survive in a world that can feel heavy and unpredictable. My goal is to help you make sense of that survival mode, find steadiness within it, and slowly reconnect with you again.
I offer a compassionate, neurodiversity-affirming and LGBTQIA+ affirming space where you can show up as you are. I specialize in working with adults with ADHD and autism, including folks exploring late-in-life diagnosis, self-identification, or simply trying to understand themselves better. I’m also training in Gottman Method couples counseling and have extensive experience supporting polyamorous and ethically non-monogamous relationships, so relationship work here is inclusive, practical, and judgment-free.
