Feeling stuck can be so frustrating. Where do we go when our usual coping skills stop working?
Having been on both sides of this question, I deeply understand the struggle on both a personal and professional level. I believe that's where therapy can really help to remove some road-blocks. It's not a cure-all, but it can certainly help build momentum.
By using more imaginative approaches to therapy in addition to cognitive approaches, I believe that roadblocks can be moved and deeper, holistic healing is possible.
I look forward to hearing and helping you move forward in your story.
Working together always helps to find a solution.
Hi, and welcome! I’m Jamie, and I’m really glad you’ve taken this step to prioritize yourself. The next, and most important part, is finding a therapist who feels like the right fit for you.
I am experienced and educated in multiple approaches of therapy, integrating the mind and body to address insecurities with emotions, thoughts, and behaviors. My approach is informed by your unique personality, history, values, and goals to weave together a treatment map that feels meaningful and relevant.
As a therapist who has overcome personal trauma and hurdles to becoming a more secure and healthy person, I know what it’s like to be on the other side. I offer a completely nonjudgmental, non-pressured, but structured approach.
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with experience across private practice, inpatient, and outpatient settings. I’ve worked with adolescents and adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma (PTSD), eating disorders, substance use, and co-occurring disorders, providing individual, group, and family therapy.
As one of the country’s few psychiatrists who also practices sex therapy, I can provide unique and specialized services for patients who have been marginalized and oppressed. I offer a combination of sex therapy and medication management, tailored to both your personal and medical needs. While I predominantly follow an Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) approach, I also incorporate elements of psychodynamic psychotherapy, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), trauma-informed therapy, and supportive therapy. I completed medical school at the Indiana University School of Medicine (2021), and completed psychiatry residency training at University of Chicago (2025).
I treat 18+ individuals, and specialize in treating individuals within any sexual minority group — including members of the LGBTQIA+, trans, gender-expansive, non-monogamous, and kink communities — plus those who participate in unconventional sexual practices. I also treat couples and individuals within various relationship structures (such as triads, polycules, or other non-monogamous relationships).

I received my Master's in Social Work from Loyola University Chicago in 2014. My clinical values are deeply rooted in the ethos of social work, which is that to understand any person, you must understand the context of their life. This includes your family of origin, socioeconomic status, any discrimination you face, and your religious or spiritual belief system. All of these parts of your life will be essential to bring into the therapy space to understand best what ails you and where we might find remedies within you and your community.
